It amazes me how our President in one breathe will say Democrats will have a hard time this November in elections and in another say Healthcare is a victory for the people. WHAT??? Last I heard the reason Dems will have a hard November is because of health care. So how is it also a victory foe us if we didn't want it? Oh lets take step back and look through this through a Liberals view. They think the American people are to dumb to realize how great this bill is. So they will push it through since we are dumb and don't know what is good for us.
The other thing that Liberals did is Reconciliation. They have from here on out fundamentally screwed everyone. No matter your political view the Republicans have never pulled this kind of "Naked power grab" Joe Biden but they did; and know watch it will happen allot now. You know the next time the GOP has a big bill they want through they pull Reconciliation on the LIBS. They will cry louder then anyone; but they ultimately brought it on themselves and deserve it. Let me explain the the "Kansas city" switch that is going on with American Politics right now. This administration is putting the blame on oil, on banks, on lenders on republican on George Bush, on Health Insurance companies. The reason why is they want you to be dependant on them. They want you to believe that they are the only savior in this economy. They are not the savior! If they are anything they are the serpent in the garden of Eden spinning truth to cause dependency in this society. They are waging class warfare and turning us against each other. The common middle class person needs to wake up this isn't white versus black this is not rich versus poor. This is the government wanting the piece of the pie. This is the government wanting to feed their own agendas and bank accounts. They attack bonuses, they attack commissions, they attack profit. This is a war; but a war of we the people versus the federal government.
I will bet you can't name one banker or one oil company chairman that is to blame for ruining this country, But i bet you can name a hand full of politicians that are.The banker making a 3 million dollar bonus didn't cost me a cent. But the political junkets the private jet trips, lifetime pent ion for political leaders all cost us money. The bank does not use your taxes to run its company. The health insurance company does not get any of your taxes to help with cost. We recognize the problem by name recognition. This President should be put in jail for the way he is running this country, back door deals AKA bribes for votes, closed door deals at night we are not a part of. Keep in mind deals the biased media isn't even allowed in. That says allot in itself! Government mandates on companies is what changes the game. Government mandated changes in lending, government won't let us drill for oil. Government shut down farms in California for 2inch garbage fish.
The government is taking your private jobs and turning them into government jobs. That way they have the control, who will argue with the government if they are also your employer? We are sheep being led to the fold. The attack on big business is nothing more then a grab for your life. If big business leaves and small business can't work because of taxes what will happen. Could you imagine if you had to call the government to have a government worker come out to fix your roof, do your plumbing put in new windows. They will keep attacking each industry until they own it all. The politicians need to leave big business needs to stay.

How does the government get away with open unequivocated bribes? I mean really! Look at this disastrous health care bill. Louisiana gets 300 million in Medicare benefits and the Governor decides to all of a sudden vote for health care reform. Nebraska gets 100 million in medicare and the Governor there seems to think that; well I guess abortion isn't that bad. The audacity that these prideful politicians have to make such bold illegal transactions is one appalling, two a slap in the face of the American people. There just basically saying who cares what they think.What are they going to do about it. Whether you are for reform or not. You should be for Honesty 1st. When are we going to see the light. When are we going to quite reelecting these crooks and money mongers into office?
I listened to democratic strategist say. " That they are willing to lose their seat to get this bill through." Are you kidding me! So you know that if you vote for this your going to lose a re-election. That means you know your constituents don't want this thing passed and you are going to vote for it anyway. WOW!! People are afraid of this bill. They don not understand it. They will not make it simple enough for the population to read. Even politicians need to have someone help them understand it. There is no transparency Mr. President which you promised. You are shoving this monstrosity down our throats and ensuing a revolt. A political revolt. And this happens over and over again. When we look at the aspects of politics we are inundated with information about who has the American people in their best interests. But is there a chance that neither side really care about you at home in middle class America? so since I am a conservative lets look at my side first.
Republicans are usually attacked for wanting free markets and are capitalists. They believe that the more money you make the better. The rich get richer is the outsiders point of view. The ones that work the hardest make the money. But even though they say they are not for big government they are for big business. which makes them look seemingly selfish and all about money. Not caring about the little guy who gets left behind.
Democrats on the other hand say they are for the people because they think that those who make the most money should share more with their community. So by having heavy taxes on top income earners they can provide help to those who are not as fortunate. Which isn't in all a bad idea. They also claim to help out the minorities but I question the intent on that. To the fact they receive large contributions from Hispanic,African American and Muslim groups to campaign to there benefit. So are they doing it because they really care.?Or is it camparible to republicans campaigning for big business?
Liberal point helping those who might not have such a loud voice in the coomunity. Republican view bigger companies creat more jobs and a healthier economy.
when I look at the to I believe both in it for themselves but when you shed the actual politics; I tend to stand by an old adage" That you can give a man a fish and feed him for a day.(liberal)

So as the media hypes us this banter and meaningless show of immaturity from a college professor lets look at realistic view on America and race.
Somewhere along the concourses of time we developed different skin color and we have segregated our society's since the beginning of time on religion,race,color,families,regions and countries. It will never stop it will always be apart of humanity. What we have to learn is toleration co-existence.
So professor Gates is as big as a racist as anyone! did he not stereotype a white police officer as racist and profiling him before he even talked to Gates about the situation? Was he not immediately upset when the police showed up to do their job? He made accusations against a caucasian officer before he knew him.
Lets move on to another point. You are at the store and you are a witness to a crime that was committed. A officer or store manager asks you to discribe the suspect. I don't care who you are you would mention their skin color for a better description. That is not racist that is a description of who they are. It was a Latino, it was a white male it was black or African-American woman. It is a description not a negative word.
Lets stop being a country of sensitive little girls and deal with the realities around us. Whether you are white,brown,Asian,Arabic or Latin. We will never move forward if we keep taking large steps like this back. It's stories like these that create stereotypes and build walls to lock out productive communication.

Congress: It didn't take long to run into an "uh-oh" moment when reading the House's "health care for all Americans" bill. Right there on Page 16 is a provision making individual private medical insurance illegal.
IBD Exclusive Series: Government-Run Healthcare: A Prescription For Failure
When we first saw the paragraph Tuesday, just after the 1,018-page document was released, we thought we surely must be misreading it. So we sought help from the House Ways and Means Committee.

It turns out we were right: The provision would indeed outlaw individual private coverage. Under the Orwellian header of "Protecting The Choice To Keep Current Coverage," the "Limitation On New Enrollment" section of the bill clearly states:
"Except as provided in this paragraph, the individual health insurance issuer offering such coverage does not enroll any individual in such coverage if the first effective date of coverage is on or after the first day" of the year the legislation becomes law.

So we can all keep our coverage, just as promised — with, of course, exceptions: Those who currently have private individual coverage won't be able to change it. Nor will those who leave a company to work for themselves be free to buy individual plans from private carriers.

From the beginning, opponents of the public option plan have warned that if the government gets into the business of offering subsidized health insurance coverage, the private insurance market will wither. Drawn by a public option that will be 30% to 40% cheaper than their current premiums because taxpayers will be funding it, employers will gladly scrap their private plans and go with Washington's coverage.

The nonpartisan Lewin Group estimated in April that 120 million or more Americans could lose their group coverage at work and end up in such a program. That would leave private carriers with 50 million or fewer customers. This could cause the market to, as Lewin Vice President John Sheils put it, "fizzle out altogether." What wasn't known until now is that the bill itself will kill the market for private individual coverage by not letting any new policies be written after the public option becomes law.

The legislation is also likely to finish off health savings accounts, a goal that Democrats have had for years. They want to crush that alternative because nothing gives individuals more control over their medical care, and the government less, than HSAs. With HSAs out of the way, a key obstacle to the left's expansion of the welfare state will be removed. The public option won't be an option for many, but rather a mandate for buying government care. A free people should be outraged at this advance of soft tyranny.

Washington does not have the constitutional or moral authority to outlaw private markets in which parties voluntarily participate. It shouldn't be killing business opportunities, or limiting choices, or legislating major changes in Americans' lives.
It took just 16 pages of reading to find this naked attempt by the political powers to increase their reach. It's scary to think how many more breaches of liberty we'll come across in the final 1,002.

Barrack O'bama economic plan is laid out in his own words as follows: I will provide a tax cut for 95% of Americans who make under 250,000 dollars a year. (even though last night he said 200,000 repeatedly watch it keep going down) So only the top 5% will receive a tax increase. If the top 5% are business owners and they pay more taxes where do you think they will make cuts to make up for more taxes? answer: American Jobs. Basic economics when times are tough do more with less i.e....cut labor. He also purposes more taxes on Health Insurance companies and "big oil'. Just guess what they will do? Outsource jobs to keep revenue greedy or not its business. Our government taxes businesses at 35% Oil companies at around 45%. We currently have the highest tax rate on companies then any other country. Through higher taxes Barrack will drive business off shore and we will subsequently lose more jobs through higher taxes. The biggest greediest company in America is not an oil company but the government. TAXING IS NOT THE ANSWER

Not only that but then we funded Medicare to keep old people alive for longer then normal, now they draw SS 10 years more then it was originally budgeted for and the funds are emptying out. The feds are months behind on paying the states their medicare reimbursements depleating the program . Government needs to stay the hell out there screwin it all up.

Move over Al Gore. Swankier carbon charlatanism has come to town in the form of the World Wildlife Fund’s luxury getaway called "Around the World: A Private Jet Expedition."
"Join us on a remarkable 25-day journey by luxury private jet," invites the WWF in a brochure for its voyage to "some of the most astonishing places on the planet to see top wildlife, including gorillas, orangutans, rhinos, lemurs and toucans."
For a price tag that starts at $64,950 per person, travelers will meet at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Fla. on April 6, 2009 and then fly to “remote corners” of the world on a “specially outfitted jet that carries just 88 passengers in business-class comfort.” “World class experts — including WWF’s director of species conservation — will provide lectures en route, and a professional staff will be devoted to making your global adventure seamless and memorable.” Travelers will visit the Amazon Rain Forest in Brazil, Easter Island, Samoa, Borneo, Laos, Nepal, Madagascar, Namibia, Uganda or Rwanda, and finish up at the luxury Dorchester Hotel in London.

This is the very same WWF that says “the current growth in [carbon dioxide] emissions must be stopped as soon as possible” and that blames Americans for emitting 21 percent of global CO2 emissions even though the U.S. accounts for only 5 percent of the global population. In December 2007, the WWF launched its “Earth Hour” campaign, a global initiative in which cities and communities simultaneously turn out their lights for one hour “to symbolize their leadership and commitment to finding solutions for climate change.”
So how does this fantasy trip square with the WWF’s alarmist rhetoric?
Using the carbon footprint calculator on the WWF’s own web site, the 36,800-mile trip in a Boeing 757 jet will burn about 100,000 gallons of jet fuel to produce roughly 1,231 tons of CO2 in 25 days — that’s the equivalent of putting about 1,560 SUVs on the road during those three-plus weeks and that doesn’t even include emissions related to local air, ground and water transport and other amenities.
The WWF laments on its web site that the average American produces 19.6 tons of CO2 annually, which is nearly five times the world average of 3.9 tons per person. But during the WWF’s posh excursion, travelers will produce 14 tons of CO2 per person. That’s 71 percent of the average American carbon footprint and 360 percent of the average global footprint in a mere three-and-one-half weeks. But who’s counting — especially when you’re in “19 rows of spacious leather seats with full ergonomic support” enjoying “gourmet meals, chilled champagne [and] your own chef.”
I guess those are the rules when you’re one of WWF’s wealthy donors, but now contrast this with the how the WWF says the rest of us should live our lives. The group’s web site states that “It clearly is time for all Americans to roll up their sleeves, to take steps to reduce emissions, to prepare for climate change, and to encourage others to do the same.”
We, the masses, should — nay, must — use compact fluorescent light bulbs, reduce hot water use, turn thermostats down in the winter and up in the summer and use low-flow shower heads and faucets. We should pledge to commute by car pool or mass transit, switch to “green power,” and get more fuel efficient cars. We should make our lives more expensive and less convenient so that the Green elites don’t feel too guilty while jet-setting to exotic locales.
Maybe, you’re thinking, the WWF plans to makes its trip “carbon neutral” by purchasing carbon offsets — after all, the group does offer a carbon offset calculator on its web site under the heading “Join WWF in our mission to save life on Earth.” But neither the trip brochure nor the WWF web site mentions that any offsets will be purchased — and there seems to be good reason for that.
According to the WWF’s calculator, it would cost in excess of $44,000 to offset the carbon emissions from the jet travel alone. Then there’s the September 2008 report from the General Accounting Office which concluded that the carbon offset market lacked credibility. The Republican leader of the congressional committee requesting the report commented that “that the lack of standardization of offsets and fundamental problems assessing and verifying credibility, leave consumers in the dark and exposed to waste, fraud, and abuse.” Former Clinton official Joseph Romm wrote on his blog that, “the vast majority of offsets are, at some level, just rip-offsets.”
The Greens are apparently reluctant to fall for their own scams.
If you can’t make the WWF’s private jet expedition, the group offers a wide variety of other pricey, carbon-spewing tours. You might be interested in the WWF trip to the Galapagos or Fiji Islands, where you’re less likely to run into pesky downscale local tourists. The WWF has called for limitations on local tourism in the Galapagos and Fiji Islands saying that it causes greater environmental damage than “larger tourist operations” — like the WWF’s.
I’ve been thinking that WWF’s bandit-like panda bear was an appropriate logo given the group’s promotion of “rip-offsets.” But now, I think that a new logo may be in order — perhaps a hippo-crite?

So after the debates last night I wonder a couple of things about the liberals. When are they going to get off their high horse and realize we need to drill here and create energy Independence. Joe Biden pulled out the old Dem phrase "It will take 10 years to see one drop of oil" Really? Isn't that what Bill Clinton said 16 years ago. What's the real agenda you have going here? The democrats have something working in the shadows. Called profit from foreign oil.
I also like how Joe Biden claims to be in touch with the private sector when he has been in Washington for 30 years. he also claimed he had talked to some guy at a gas station who told him" I cant afford to fill up" which I can see. But, the answer is not putting off our independence till we invent a new energy source. I am not against research for new energy, but we need to free up the markets and make money by drilling so we can afford to fill up our cars and research at the same time.
I did agree on the war with both parties a "hybrid" of both if you will. Iraq needs to have the cost of rebuilding their infrastructure back to them and take more of a roll. They have built up 79 billion dollars and are not spending their own money. There using yours and mine. On the other hand a premature pullout would resolve in a Taliban take over because they are not yet trained and equipped to adequately defend themselves. They need to spend their money while we are there strictly for training and limited combat engagement.

I think Palin was a perfect choice for McCain to get the ultra-conservitives on his side again. She is exactly what we need to build up this country again and move forward with integrity. Lets look at some of the media issues on her.

Working mother, so what. So she has 5 kids one pregnant one w/ down syndrome. I thought the liberals would love the E.O.E by the republicans guess not. They say she should put her children first and raise her kids. On the other hand Joe Biden was sworn into office in the hospital where his wife and children were being treated for an unfortunate car accident. Also sad note left him a single parent but nobody looked down on him, and shouldn't. I think he is a patriot even though we dont and won't see eye to eye give Palin the respect Jumpin Joe has been given
They also say she cant control her kids because of a teenage pregnancy. Bill Clinton couldn't control himself in the White House. What family on Gods' green earth doesn't have something happen that they don't stand for. Every family has its secrets and the one wierd Uncle they won't let the kids play around.

He also stated that we should purpose a windfall tax on big oil companies and do another stimulus check for the American people paid for by that tax increase. News flash the oil company ( who buy the way only brings in 10% revenue) would just jack up the price to get their money back.
His campaign add said"the same workers who build roofs can build solar panels" true but what American paying an average of 4$ a gallon can afford a 10,000$ solar panel on their home? Did you know that the savings you accumulate from the solar panel would take you over 20 years to see.

He said: "I would not have nominated Clarence Thomas. I don't think that he, I don't think that he was a strong enough jurist or legal thinker at the time for that elevation. Setting aside the fact that I profoundly disagree with his interpretation of a lot of the Constitution."
hmm lets look at Barracks credentials for him to think he can say that: as he bids to be America's Commander in Chief, Mr. Obama isn't yet four years out of the Illinois state Senate, has never held a hearing of note of his U.S. Senate subcommittee, and had an unremarkable record as both a "community organizer" and law school lecturer. Justice Thomas's judicial credentials compare favorably to Mr. Obama's Presidential resume by any measure.

How about this; Jesse Jackson keeps the uneducated sector of black Americans feeling victimized. Jesse Jackson oppresses and breeds victimization to his own people. YOU look down on black people. I bet Barrack Obama Doesn't use the N-word.

I personally use the word for a term of endearment to my friends and buddies and realize I shouldn't. Most of my Black-American friends I have been around don't mind but it does not make it right. Its how you use it. Here is the main point though. To say that only Black-Americans can use the term and not every body is still a form of segregation.I say all of us or none of us use it.
The audacity of a black-American youth to say we earned the right to say it is redundant and naive. You did not grow up in the times your parents did or your grandparents as well. So you have not earned anything. The actual people that have quote unquote "earned the right to say the N-word" surprisingly don't.
So when Whoopie Goldberg says Nigger on the view over and over again and not be fined by the FCC shows us reverse bigotry and racism. Point being that since she is a black-American she is OK but Imus says Nappy headed ho's and is in deep water. What's the difference? Skin Color so we are saying its OK for this group of people and not for this group of people. Which is a good definition of? Segregation.

So fellow Americans in the wake of this election period it has been brought up that McCain has had considerable policy changes. His camp has labelled them as "evolving" and MSN's Keith Olberman has pointed allot of changes in McCain's policies. But I would like to conjecture that thought and it runs for Obamy's camp as well.
Changing your policies is normal whether or not you your a Democrat or Republican, because you are serving the American people and their views should change according to the wants and the needs of the American people. Who you should be afraid of is the candidate that ignores our best interests. Small example is the fact that Obama wont change his views on offshore drilling. The american people are being bled dry and he is saying" We need to wait and invest in alternative fuels". Is that in the best intrest of the poor and middleclass americans across the board? No,its a selfish campaighn asking us to give more and recieve less. Why fix it if it aint broken? Why look for alternative fuels and spend that much time and money when we are not in a oil crisis?

Lets look at the political messiahs credentials here folks: Barack Obama logged exactly 143 days of experience in the U.S. Senate before setting his sights on winning the White House.
Obama was sworn in as a senator on Jan. 4, 2005, and he announced that he was forming a presidential exploratory committee on Jan. 16, 2007. In that interval, the Senate was in session and working for 143 days, according to GOPUSA’s blog The Loft.
That’s the equivalent of less than 21 seven-day weeks.
“After 143 days of work experience, Obama believed he was ready to be commander in chief, leader of the free world, and fill the shoes of Abraham Lincoln, FDR, JFK and Ronald Reagan,” Cheri Jacobus writes on the blog.
In contrast, presidential rival John McCain’s resume includes 26 years in Congress and 22 years of military service, including his 1,966 days as a POW in Vietnam.

It s funny to me that people are ready to shoot him up a latter because he is black. Honestly its not fair to him or to the American people. Spike Lee said "This will be monumental and will change the world when he is elected." for a successfull director your pretty stupid. It is unheard of to push someone through that fast in any buisness to such a high office or position. For those of us who didn't grow up in the 70's get a book and be prepared for Jimmy Carter round 2.

Reverse Bigotry

So during this election I have come to believe that our country has almost fallen into reverse bigotry. I believe it is just as wrong to vote for Barrack because he is black as it is not to vote for him because he is black. On MSN the other day it had an article of which Hollywood stars are voting for which candidate. No surprise not one African-American was going to vote for John McCain. Hmm. Are we turning a blind eye? All I am putting out there is the idea that some people feel that this is their chance to be apart of history for voting for the 1st minority president. Which to me is naive and irresponsible. Base your decision on facts that are present and accessible. Don't be a part of something your pocket book and lifestyle will regret. Facts
1.Barrack Obama has called for $1 trillion in tax increases over the next 10 years — and dressed them up as tax cuts.
2. He will extend health insurance to illegal immigrants.
3. He will require the feds to notify terrorists within seven days of the start of an investigation into their activities.
4. He says he will bring change to the White House that would be great if one of his followers under 30 could tell me what change is that? What hope? I could parade around and preach change and hope. That has got to be the most open statement for a campaign.
5. He will not support off shore drilling but will keep abusing your tax dollars to subsidize Ethanol, Wind and other exspieramental fuels.
6. He plans to add on windfall taxes on oil companies. He also says Oil companies should be forced to pay out another stimulus check to the consumer. That is nuts. All they will do is jack up prices to recover the loss. Which didn't work for Jimmy Carter why would it work now?
Just to name a few. But, who cares I'm voting for him because I want to be a part of history!!! Yeah!!!

Do you ever ask yourself why?

1. Why doesn't any media channel ever cover the fact that roadside bombs are down by 90% over the last year in Iraq?

2. Democrats always appose drilling in our own country for oil. Bill Clinton shot down drilling in Alaska when he was elected because "We wouldn't even benefit from it for about 10 more years." Well it's been 16. Whats wrong with planning for the future? Don't we all plan for the future? Why can't the government?

3. Why is everyone so comfortable with a man who is running for president that has terrorist ties? How can no one see that all Barracks friends and associates are exposed and then he does a press release saying "That is not the person I knew" does Barrack know any of his friends? IE. Bill Ayers (radical bomber) Rev.Wright ( extreme racist and radical from Chicago). If any other president had these ties he wouldn't have a chance.

4. Are all democrats unhappy to be Americans? They paint this picture of how mean and bad we are. We consume to much oil, We consume to much energy, We consume to much food. So what that's part of being a success full country. We consume to much oil because we all have jobs to go to, and make enough money to travel. We consume energy because it is my freedom to have my home at 72 degrees in the summer and 77 in the winter. These are all freedoms that our ancestors have fought for. Obama,Gore & Lieberman if that's true why don't you drive around in a Prius or a Secret Service detail made of Hybrid Tahoe's. Al Gores mansion in Tenn is kept pretty cool I'll bet. Why does Al Gore live in a mansion with 2 people? Because he can and that's his right. Don't take it away from me.
And another thingI know if Pres.Bush's wife said"I have never been proud to be an American" I would be outraged even though he is in my own party. But you democrats look past that. "Reverse bigotry" at it's finest people.
